Please note:
As of October 1st 2011 the Sunshine Coast Showjumping & Equestrian club will be introducing a bond levy for workers to all club memberships.
This levy is being introduced as a last resort to encourage more members to help. We have be left with no other choice but to adopt this levy in order to get more help. As a club we try to keep cost downs but at the end of the day its always the same handful of people who get left to do all the work.
The levy will work as follows. A single membership will now attract an additional charge of $50 as a bond levy and a family membership will attract an additional $100 bond levy. As a single member you will be required to volunteer for 5hrs over the duration of the year at jump club or at our club shows. After completing your volunteer hours you will receive your bond back.. As a family you will be required to contribute 10 hours between your family during the duration of the year, upon completion of these hours your will be refunded your money. As soon as you have completed your hours you get your bond levy refund. For those to don’t wish to help out or do not complete your hours your bond levy will be forfeited. Bond levy money will be used to help pay for jobs the club needs to pay other to do. It will be up to the members to have their hours signed off at each jump club before a refund will be processed. You can sign the book at the nomination table at anytime throughout the day.
Membership forms and bond levys are due by Oct 1st 2011 for the next financial year.
